I’ve been wanting to get back into blogging on my little slice of the Web here, but my theme has been getting me down for a while and I’ve been having a hell of a time finding one to suit me. Finally, today, I took the time to download, install and customize something new.
The new WordPress theme you see here is called zeeCorporate. It’s available as a free download, and is super-customizable!
I’m still getting things into shape, but already I’m enjoying the custom colors and header. The tattoos you see in the header are both of the tats that I actually have, just cut out and made into a JPEG with Paint.net, a powerful and free image program. The sun/moon design was just done this past March at Tabu Tattoo in Chandler, AZ. The little musical flower was actually done 15 years ago at Mile High Tattoo in Denver, CO as I was driving through town on my job as a long-haul tractor-trailer driver (but, that is a story for another time!).
After looking at these two tattoos side-by-side, I think I might be a bit of a hippie. Then again, my mother WAS going to name me “Rainbow.” Thanks for not going that way, Mom. I’d rather be associated with a fast food chain, honestly.
Anyway, I’m pleased with the new design. I don’t care if you think it sucks (to each his own, I say), but if you want to tell me how awesome it is feel free to leave me a comment!

I love the tatoos…from one “hippee” to another.
I thought the Sun/Moon looked suspiciously familiar, as in a little sketch you did describing to me what the next bit of ink you wanted to get, a few years back. I’m so glad you got it done! I love that you are using these bits of you (quite literally, as well as computerally). Quite cool and unique, just like you.
You remember, Patti! Yeah, it’s similar, but not quite as girly as what I’d picked, but I’m happy with it.
Thanks to you and Melissa for commenting!
